- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - 36 beds for newborns in distress. The unit features special "nesting rooms" where parents can stay with their children long-term and simulate their home environment to learn how to care for their child at home.

- Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) - 24 private rooms with a four-bed specialty unit dedicated to patients needing longer stays. Each room has a sleeping bed for family.
- Hematology/Oncology Unit - 14 private rooms for children and adolescents with blood disorders or cancers. The unit includes two rooms for long-term care.
- Blood and Marrow Transplantation - 6 private rooms for the only bone marrow program in Southern Arizona.
